Time to level up buttercup. Here is the truth: The sport wouldn’t be the same without you, and you will be forever changed because of the sport. Data shows that when you participate in sports, you develop more persistence, and better overall school performance. Maintaining all of this does require training. So one area of training you must not miss out on, is the training of your mindset.

Here are 3 affirmations you MUST make part of your daily routine. Now.

  1. “I’m going to use all my tools, my God-given ability, and make the best life I can with it.” — Lebron James

I will do my absolute best, then take a rest. repeat.

2. “At the end of the day, if I can say that I had fun, it was a good day.” — Simone Biles

I will have fun with it. This is for me.

3. “Mind is everything. Muscle- pieces of rubber. All that I am is because of my mind.” — Paavo Nurmi

I will settle my mind on who I am and live like it.
